Architecture & Design

 HKS is a global architecture and design firm founded in 1939. With more than 1,500 professionals across 27 offices worldwide, the firm works across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, sports and entertainment, commercial, and critical infrastructure. HKS operates a dedicated Mission Critical practice focused on the design of data centers and other facilities that must operate at the highest levels of reliability, and the practice has completed work on hundreds of mission critical projects.

With more than five decades of experience and offices across the United States, Langan is highly experienced the in the data center industry and is supporting the Dickerson project in a variety of areas, including site/civil, geotechnical, traffic and surveying, and services.  VIKA is a multi-disciplinary firm with offices in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Florida. With over 45 years of experience and concentrated expertise in Montgomery County, VIKA is supporting the project by providing a range of services including civil engineering, planning/entitlement advisory, surveying, and more. The firm's regional presence and deep familiarity with Montgomery County make it a well-suited partner for this project.

Backed by decades of experience working on the Dickerson industrial property, GAI is designing water and wastewater systems that prioritize environmental protection, use minimal water, and enhance operational safety for the Dickerson data center project. In addition, GAI is leading the water and wastewater permitting processes with MDE.
